I started playing when I was just a kid.
I guess I just never got tired of it.
You know I started a band,
When they were playing in sand.
We got a van and we toured the world.
Until our lead guitarist met a girl.
She started writing lyrics.
He's hypnotized by her tits.
Our second album just wasn't so good.
We said the critics must have misunderstood.
Sold to advertisements. (advertise men.)
And lost the faith of the kids.
But we kept writing on everyday.
Until the drugs, well they got in the way.
Our drummer ODed on smack.
We took our old drummer back.
Lead guitarist went to do solo work.
We said "Good riddance. That kid was a jerk."
We still play under the name.
But it just isn't the same.
They did our story on VH1.
All in all I guess we had a good run.
Reunion tour would be lame.
Unless we get Hall of Fame.
